Cut a 30 × 30" base and a ⌀22" disc from ¾" plywood. Drill a ½" center hole in the disc. Drill 4× 5/16" holes at R 7", spaced 90° apart. Cut 4×4 post to exactly 6.0".
Center the hinge along the front edge of the base board. Screw one leaf flush to the base with wood screws. Leave the second leaf free — the post will attach to it in Step 3.
Screw the bottom face of the 4×4 post onto the free hinge leaf. Bolt the gearmotor bracket to the inside face of the post with the output shaft pointing up along the post axis.
Connect: motor output → universal joint → square spindle → through disc center hole → into hub plate. Tighten the set-screw on the spindle. Bolt the hub plate to the underside of the disc through the four R 7" holes.
Drill four 5/16" holes in the bowl bottom on the same R 7" pattern as the disc. Drop bolts through from inside the bowl. Add fender washers inside, then lock nuts beneath the disc. Snug firmly — do not overtighten.
Bolt one clevis to the base ~8" behind the hinge centerline. Bolt the second clevis to the upper rear face of the post. Thread the ¼-20 rod between them and tighten the wing nut. Spinning the wing nut adjusts the tilt from 35° to 60°.
Connect: 12V power supply → PWM controller input → PWM controller output → gearmotor leads. Power on and turn the PWM dial to ~50%. Confirm the bowl rotates so powder would ride up the back wall. If rotation is reversed, swap the two motor leads.
Power on. Bowl rotates smoothly with no wobble. If wobble, re-center hub plate and re-tighten bolts.
Wing nut adjusts tilt smoothly from 35° to 60° with no binding. Start at 45°.
Powder should ride up the back wall and tumble down the front. Swap motor leads if reversed.
