Pricing
Flat-priced catalog, no surprises. Pricing is set by cremains weight (Stream A) or pet weight (Stream B). All prices include intake, processing, packaging, and ground shipping within the continental US.
Stream A — Memorial Pearls
Hand-painted memorial pearls from cremains. The Pearl Method works the same whether the input is a hamster, a schnauzer, or a human; pricing is set by cremains weight, not source.
| Tier | Cremains weight | Typical source | Pearls (approx.) | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | < 0.5 lb | Partial keepsake portion; hamster, parakeet, small reptile | 2-10 | $250 |
| S | 0.5-1 lb | Cat, small dog, partial keepsake portion of a larger animal or human | ~25 | $475 |
| M | 1-2 lb | Mid-size dog, partial keepsake of a large dog or human | ~45 | $695 |
| L | 2-4 lb | Large dog, full keepsake portion of a human | ~70 | $995 |
| XL | 4-9 lb | Full pet cremation up to ~80 lb live weight; full human cremation | ~85 | $1,295 |
Acceptance cap: 9 lb of cremains. A 300-lb adult human cremation typically yields about 9 lb of remains, so this cap covers any normal human or pet cremation. Anything beyond 9 lb is by special arrangement only.
Included in tier price: intake, sieving, granulation, hand-painting with cremains slurry and natural pigments, polishing, sealing, chain-of-custody documentation, photographic record, packaging, and ground shipping (continental US). No separate intake fee.
Stream B — Memorial Soil
Pet-only private Natural Organic Reduction (NOR). Every tier returns the same standardized 1.5 cu ft of finished memorial soil in the same hand-built Western red cedar planter — the artisan piece is what's consistent, not the volume.
| Tier | Pet weight | Vessel cycle | Return | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tiny | < 10 lbs | JK270 dual-chamber | 1.5 cu ft + cedar planter | $475 |
| Small-Medium | 10-30 lbs | JK400 dual-chamber | 1.5 cu ft + cedar planter | $675 |
| Large | 30-40 lbs | JK400 full capacity | 1.5 cu ft + cedar planter | $895 |
Pricing scales with vessel cycle complexity, not output volume. Surplus from larger pets feeds the Mother Pile — the active hot inoculant pile at the workshop that seeds new vessel cycles. Finished memorial soil also plants the Unconditional Forest, the memorial grove on the property. No remains are ever discarded.
Included in tier price: intake, vessel loading, full NOR cycle, 45-day cedar-vessel cure, soil packaging, certificate of completion, photographic chain-of-custody record, the cedar planter itself, and ground shipping (continental US).
Line 3 — Community Composting
For families who don't want a private NOR vessel.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Customer fee (single price, no weight tier) | $150 |
| Direct program cost | $30 |
| Net donated to participating shelter partner | $120 |
Communal NOR batch with rural-shelter animals. Family receives a labeled bag of finished soil. All net proceeds donate directly to participating shelter partners. Operated as a community-service program inside the for-profit. The $150 is not customer-tax-deductible — the customer is paying for a service that funds a downstream donation.
Sales tax
Stream A and Stream B products are tangible personal property. Georgia sales tax (~6-8% depending on county) is added at checkout for orders shipping within Georgia. Out-of-state orders follow the destination state's sales tax rules.
Shipping
Continental US shipping included in tier price. Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, and international shipping are quoted separately at intake.
